Rohit Sharma completes 7000 runs in ODI

Dubai, Sept 23 (IBNS): Cricketer Rohit Sharma on Sunday completed 7000 runs in ODI international during the Asia Cup match against Pakistan.

Indian cricket board BCCI congratulated the cricketer and tweeted: " 7000 ODI runs for @ImRo45. Congratulations to the captain for this remarkable feat #TeamIndia #AsiaCup #INDvPAK."

Rohit is leading the Indian team in the Asia Cup.

Regular skipper Virat Kohli has been rested for the tournament.

India and Pakistan are facing for the second time in the tournament so far.

India had defeated Pakistan in the group stage match.
