Sania, Martina reach Madrid Open final

Madrid, May 6 (IBNS): Indian Tennis icon Snaia Mirza and her doubles partner Martina Hingis reached the final of the Madrid Open by thrashing Vania King and Alla Kudryavtseva here on Friday.

Sania and her experienced Swiss partner reached the final by beating their opponents  6-2, 6-0.

The Indo-Swiss pair is just a game away from  their  fifth title win of the calender year 2016.

In the current season they have already won the Sydney, Brisbane, Australian Open and St Petersburg titles.
