Simona Halep wins Shenzhen Open, Elina Svitolina clinches Brisbane title
Shenzhen/Brisbane, Jan 6 (IBNS): World number one Simona Halep won the Shenzhen Open while number six ranked Elina Svitolina clinched the Brisbane title on Saturday, media reports said.
Halep defeated her opponent Katerina Siniakova 6-1, 2-6, 6-0.
On the other hand, Svitolina outclassed Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the Brisbane Open 6-2, 6-1.
Both will take part in the Australian Open in 2018.
