South African batsman AB de Villiers turns 34

Cape Town, Feb 17 (IBNS): South Africa's stylish batsman AB de  Villiers turned 34 on Saturday.

While, he would have surely loved to win the contest against India in the last ODI.

However, Indian skipper Virat Kohli smashed a memorable century as India beat African side by eight wickets to clinch the series 5-1.

Meanwhile, congratulating the batsman, ICC tweeted: " On his 34th birthday, why not enjoy again @ABdeVilliers17 smashing the fastest ever 150 in ODIs at #CWC15 - it only took 64 balls!  ."

The crickceter has fastest ODI fifty (16 balls), fastest ODI century (31 balls) and fastest ODI 150 to his name.

IPL side Royal Challengers Bangalore posted: " Happy birthday to the rockstar who sets our hearts racing every time he steps on the field - @ABdeVilliers17! May you have an uninterrupted year of batting and thrilling us! #PlayBold ."
