Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kings XI Punjab by 13 runs in IPL thriller

Hyderabad, Apr 27 (IBNS): In yet another low scoring match, Sunrisers Hyderabad played brilliantly to defeat R Ashwin's Kings XI Punjab by 13 runs in an IPL encounter here on Thursday.

After posting 132 runs for the loss of six wickets, Kings were bowled out for 119 runs.

KL Rahul (32) and Chris Gayle (23) were top scorers for Kings but they could not manage their side to reach the victory mark.

Rashid Khan of Afghanistan shined again as he picked up three wickets by giving away only 19 runs in his four overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 132/6 in 20 overs against Kings XI Punjab at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Thursday.

Manish Pandey was the top scorer for Sunrisers with 54 (51). He has hit three fours and a six.

Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan scored 28 and 21 respectively.

Ankit Rajpoot took five wickets for Sunrisers conceding just 14 runs in four overs.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked up one wicket.
