Sydney Test: Australia win toss, elect to bat first against India

Sydney/IBNS: Australian captain Tim Paine won the toss and elected to bat first in the third Test match against India here on Thursday.

India are playing four bowlers and an all-rounder in the match.

India's vice captain Rohit Sharma has returned to the side after recovering from an injury.

Indian pace bowler Navdeep Saini made his Test debut on Thursday.

Indian right-handed batsman KL Rahul has already been ruled out of the rest of the series owing to an injury in his left wrist, in a blow to Team India.
