Test: England beat India to level series 1-1
England waited for long to clinch the series.
Needing 445 runs for victory, England took the remaining six wickets to all out India at 178.
Ajinkya Rahane (52*) and Rohit Sharma (6), who were unbeaten overnight, resumed the day's play for the visitors.
Rahane was the only warrior who tried to give some resistance to the hosts and remained unbeaten at 52.
Anderson picked up the wickets of Sharma, MS Dhoni (6) and Moeen Ali took Ravindra Jadeja (15)'s wicket to shatter remaining hopes for India.
Ali, bowled a memorable spell and took his first Test match five wicket hall, to finish the remaining line-up.
Rahane tired to provide a calm resistance at the end but at the end he was short of finding a proper partner to save the day.
Ali picked up six wickets by giving away 67 runs while Anderson took two wickets by giving 24.
After the match, Dhoni said he feels his team did not play god cricket.
"I don't think we played good cricket. We played the fast bowlers well. Moeen bowled well but we let him bowl well," said Dhoni.
England leveled the series 1-1 with the victory.
