Third T20I: Sri Lanka restrict Shikhar Dhawan's India to 81/8 in 20 overs

Colombo/IBNS: In a batting collapse, India could gather only 81 runs losing eight wickets in their quota of 20 overs as Sri Lankan bowlers dominated the first half of the series-deciding third T20I here Thursday.

Indian batsmen would like to forget the evening as only one specialised batsman could score a double-digit run.

India reached 81 with due courtesy of Kuldeep Yadav's unbeaten 23 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 16 on a day the men-in-blue were playing without a number of players.

India are missing a number of players who are quarantined after the COVID-19 breakout in the squad.

Wanindu Hasaranga was the bowler with best figures, 4/9 in four overs.
