New Delhi: A tiktok video showing two school children doing somersault on the streets has caught the glance of no one else but five-time Olympian gold medalist and former Romanian gymnast Nadia Comaneci.

In the video, which was shared by Comaneci on Twitter, a boy and a girl were seeing doing the somersault in school uniform with their school bags on their backs reminding Indian gymnast Dipa Karmakar's Produnova in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

"This is awesome"  is how Comaneci reacted on Twitter.

Comaneci's tweet was later retweeted by Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju who said in the micro-blogging site, "I'm happy that @nadiacomaneci10 tweeted it! As first gymnast who scored perfect 10.0 at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, and then, received six more perfect 10s to win three gold medals, it becomes very special. I've urged to introduce these kids to me."

According to media reports, the school children were from West Bengal.

Now all will be waiting when the children really do get an opportunity to meet the Sports Minister.
