Udayjit hits the front at Tata Steel Tolly Juniors Cup
Kolkata, June 11 (IBNS): Udayjit, son of former top Indian professional Indrajit Bhalotia hit the front in the opening round of the Tolly Juniors Cup, the fifth leg of the Tata Steel IGU East Zone Junior Sub-Junior Tour being played at the Tollygunj Club here on Wednesday.
The lanky youngster made four birdies enroute to an even-par 71 and led by four shots over Rohit Kumar Bouri and Shamim Edu in the top category (A&B).
Sharif Khan was fourth at 77 while Rahul Dey was fifth at 78. NishkarshSachdeva was sixth at 79 along with SumantLenka.
Sandeep Kumar Yadav was leading in Category C with PrathamChoudhary in the secondpalce at 83.
Arav Shanghavi topped in Catgeiry D was Pranshu Poddar was second.
In the Girls top category, it was Susnata Deb who led the field with Marshneil Prasad trailing her by 8 shots for a second place.
Yashodhara Bhalotia emerged the leader in Girls C category while Aahana Kapoor led in Girls D category. Gurmehr Singh Bindra led in the E Catgeory which was played over nine holes.
