London, Apr 9 (IBNS): Wisden has named Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan in its 'Leading Cricketer in the World for 2013'.

Dhawan along with four other cricketers, including England women's captain Charlotte Edwards, have been named in the list.

"Charlotte Edwards, the England Women captain, became only the second woman to be named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year, finding herself on a list of five players that also comprises Shikhar Dhawan, Australians Ryan Harris and Chris Rogers, and Joe Root. Dale Steyn was Wisden’s Leading Cricketer in the World for 2013," wisdenindia.com said.

The awards were announced in London on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, retired Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar graced the covers of the 151st edition of the Wisden Cricketers' Almanack where the yellow pages shows him walking out of Mumbai's  Wankhede stadium after playing his last innings against West Indies last year.
