BHEL bags Rs.5,600 crore order for Supercritical Power Project in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Mar 1 (IBNS) Reposing confidence in BHEL’s technological and project execution capabilities, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa handed over the Letter of Award (LoA) for setting up of the Main Plant Package for the 2x800 MW Uppur Supercritical Thermal Power Project (TPP) to Atul Sobti, CMD, BHEL, in Chennai.
