Union Cabinet approves extension of distribution of fortified rice till Dec 2028

New Delhi: The Central government on Wednesday approved the extension of the universal distribution of fortified rice across all its welfare schemes, including the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY), until December 2028.

Mumbai /Kolkata, Apr 7 (IBNS): Under the multiple Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) signed last March between the Government of Maharashtra and Tata Trusts to work together to improve community developmental indicators for the state, Tata Trusts on Friday, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) in Mumbai with the State Government to initiate a milk fortification programme as per the guidelines of the Government of India.
