Nationwide bank strike enters day two, UFBU to decide next course of action

Hyderabad/UNI: The two-day nationwide strike called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), an umbrella body of nine bank unions, in protest against the Centre's proposed privatisation of Public Sector Banks (PSBs), entered the second day on Tuesday.

Hyderabad/UNI: Conciliation meetings, held by the Additional Chief Labour Commissioner S C Joshi with the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), haven't yielded any positive result, as the latter has decided to demonstrate a nation-wide strike on March 15 and 16.
