Coal India subsidiaries get CCEA nod for equity investments in coal-fired power projects

New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday approved equity investments by two Coal India Ltd (CIL) subsidiaries -- South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) and Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) for setting up thermal power plants at an estimated cost of Rs 21,547 crore.

CCEA approves common e-auction of coal for power & non-power coal users

Mumbai/UNI: In a major relief to the non-power coal users the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Saturday approved offering of coal by coal companies through a common e-auction window instead of sector specific auctions.

New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS): The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its approval for doubling of Surendranagar-Rajkot project at an estimated cost of Rs.1,002.39 crore with expected completion cost of Rs.1,137.17 crore with 5% escalation per annum.

CCEA approves doubling of Pune-Miraj-Londa railway line

New Delhi, May 25 (IBNS): The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has given its approval for doubling of Pune-Miraj-Londa railway line project at an estimated cost of Rs.3,627.47 crore and expected completion cost of Rs.4,246.84 crore with 5% escalation per annum.
