Cuba, Chile show interest in buying Basmati Rice from Haryana

Chandigarh/UNI: As a result of efforts of the Haryana government to attract foreign investment and promote exports with the aim of enhancing the economic development of the state, Latin American countries, Cuba and Chile, have expressed interest to purchase Basmati rice from Haryana and a delegation of Cuba will visit the state next month for this purpose.

New York/IBNS: The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the signing of the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) and Protocol between the Republic of India and the Republic of Chile for the elimination of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion and avoidance with respect to taxes on income.
