India's Apr-Feb coal prodn reaches 880.72 MT

New Delhi: India's coal production for April-February this fiscal reached 880.72 million tonnes (MT), bringing it within 119.28 MT of the FY24 target of 1 billion tonnes.

Overall coal production touches 92.87 MT in December 2023: Coal Ministry

New Delhi: India’s overall coal production during December 2023 reached 92.87 Million Tonne (MT), surpassing the figures of 83.86 MT, the previous year, representing an increase of 10.75%, the Ministry of Coal said.

NTPC's coal dispatch grows 90% YoY till November

New Delhi: State-run power manufacturer NTPC Ltd on Friday reported a substantial growth of 90% year-on-year in coal dispatch from its captive mines till November in FY 2023-24 achieving a total coal dispatch of 23.12 million metric tonnes (MMT).

New Delhi: India's coal production surged during November, reaching 84.53 MT, up 11.03% compared to 76.14 MT of the corresponding month in the previous year.

New Delhi: India produced 67.21million tonne (MT) of coal in September, surpassing the figures of 58.04 MT of the corresponding month in previous year, representing an increase of 15.81%.
