India's engineering goods exports reach $10.04 billion
Kolkata: India's engineering goods exports grew 10.20 percent year-on-year to $10.04 billion in December 2023 despite several challenges stemming from geo-political tensions and tight financial conditions in major advanced economies, according to EEPC India
New Delhi: India produced electronic goods worth Rs 5,54,461 crore in 2020-21 while electronic goods worth Rs 81,948 crore were exported during the period, Minister of State for Electronics & IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar told Lok Sabha Wednesday.

New Delhi/IBNS: Continuing the uptrend, engineering goods exports have posted 42.14% growth in July, 2021 over the same period a year ago. The high growth in engineering goods augurs well for the economy as the sector is labour-intensive and one of the key foreign exchange (Forex) earners, said EEPC India Chairman Mahesh Desai.
