Essar Energy to invest additional 1000 cr in its West Bengal project

Durgapur/Raniganj, Jul 15 (IBNS): After achieving the milestone of 1 million standard cubic metres per day (scmd) in Coalbed Methane (CBM) gas production from West Bengal's Raniganj (East) Block, Essar Energy will invest additional 1000 crore rupees in the same project to reach a plateau of 3 million scmd by middle of FY2017-18, an official said on Wednesday.
