Passenger vehicle sales rise 10% in July to 320,129 units on new launches, discounts: FADA
New Delhi/IBNS: India's passenger vehicle sales recorded a 10 percent on-year surge in July driven by new model launches and enhanced discounts, according to Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), the apex national body of Automobile Retail Industry in the country engaged in the sale, service and spares of two and three Wheelers, passenger cars, utility vehicles (UVs), commercial vehicles and tractors.
New Delhi: There has been an uptick in the performance of the motor vehicles sector across segments with the total production of passenger vehicles, three-wheelers, two-wheelers, and quadricycles in the month of July 2022 at 2,197,954 units, and domestic sales at 1,706,545 units, according to Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) report.
2022 PV sales likely to exceed estimates
Passenger Vehicle (PV) sales will rise compared to CY20 and CY21 as the manufacturers are ready to cater to the healthy demand in the category as supplies from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) improves.
