New York, Oct 10 (IBNS) Urgent support is needed to avert an "economic meltdown" in Guinea, where the Ebola crisis is destroying lives, jobs and essential services, leaving exports of fruits and vegetables down 90 percent, the airport two-thirds empty and container traffic to its key port down by a third, according to the United Nations.

New York, Aug 19 (IBNS) The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday said any persons with an illness consistent with Ebola should not be allowed to travel by air, sea or land from affected countries unless it is part of a medical evacuation, as it also expressed concern over the threats and harassment of health workers in West African countries developing into a "worry element."
