Kolkata: A British national, who was on his way to Gaya via Kolkata, was on Monday taken to a city hospital after being detected with Coronavirus-19 during a random check at the airport, official sources confirmed.

Kolkata/IBNS: With the highest one-day spike of 2278 infections and 36 deaths, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in West Bengal has jumped to 42487, including 16492 active cases, 1112 fatalities and 24883 recoveries, state health department said on Sunday.
