New Delhi: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) issued a notice to the UP government over the reported botched cataract surgeries of six patients at a private hospital in Kanpur.

Chennai, June 29 (IBNS) The National Human Rights Commission on Wednesday said it has taken suo motu cognizance of media reports that sixteen patients lost their vision after a botched up cataract surgery at the Government Hospital, Mettur in Salem District of Tamil Nadu from June 14- 16.
