Cabinet approves 157 new nursing colleges at a cost of Rs 1570 cr in co-location with existing medical colleges

New Delhi/IBNS: The Union Cabinet in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved the establishment of 157 new nursing colleges in co-location with the existing medical colleges established in 2014.

Kolkata: An arm of the CK Birla Group, CK Birla Hospitals, which operates The Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) and BM Birla Heart Research Centre (BMB) in Kolkata and the Rukmani Birla Hospital (RBH) in Jaipur, has recently implemented a simulation lab for nurses joining the profession.
