Experts Committee to provide technical advice to abate forest fire in Odisha: Prakash Javadekar

Bhubaneswar/UNI: A committee of experts will visit Odisha to give technical advice and help out to the state forest department in effective management of forest fire incidents in the region, Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar said.

Cabinet OKs setting up of Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy as subordinate office under AYUSH ministry

New Delhi/UNI: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved re-establishing Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H) as a subordinate office under Ministry of AYUSH by merging into it Pharmacopoeia Laboratory for Indian Medicine (PLIM) and Homoeopathic Pharmacopoeia Laboratory (HPL)- the two central laboratories established in Ghaziabad since 1975.

Overall improvement in Delhi air quality: Javadekar

New Delhi, Nov 22 (UNI) There has been an overall improvement in the air quality of Delhi in 2019 successively from 2016 and the government is taking several initiatives to curb air pollution, Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar said in the Lok Sabha on Friday.
