Pakistan: Sindh bans indoor dining, closes schools amid a spike in COVID-19 cases

Islamabad/UNI: The Sindh government on Wednesday announced that it had decided to reimpose coronavirus restrictions regarding indoor dining and also ordered the closure of all schools in the province due to a rise in the number of Covid-19 cases.

Islamabad: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan’s (HRCP) annual report on the state of human rights in 2020 indicates that, by the end of last year, Sindh presented the highest number of Covid-19 infections and deaths in the country, with a death toll of 3,560.

Islamabad: Pakistan's Sindh region has registered 556 new cases of the coronavirus and 17 deaths, which is the highest daily jump in infections since July 29, media reports said on Friday.
