WHO-released study shows global diabetes epidemic reaches critical levels with 800 million cases

Global diabetes cases have quadrupled since 1990, affecting over 800 million adults worldwide, according to a World Health Organization (WHO) study released to coincide with World Diabetes Day.

Kolkata, Nov 15 (IBNS): Metro Railways, Kolkata in association with Rotary Calcutta Metro City, Rotary District 3291 and SRL Ltd organized Two mega Diabetes Detection Camps at the Park Street and Central stations from 9 am- 1 pm where over 450 beneficiaries were screened for Diabetes on the occasion of the World Diabetes Day on Tuesday.
