Shirsendu Mukhopadhyay, noted Bengali author, talks about how he started writing and about his literary career on the side lines of the launch of the English translation (Eye of the Eagle) of his murder mystery novel Eagoler Chokh, now adapted for a Bengali movie that just hit the movie screens. Kolkata, Aug 13 (IBNS): Eye of the Eagle, an English translation of Eagoler Chokh, a Bengali murder mystery novel written by noted author Shirsendu Mukhopadhyay, was released on Wednesday in Kolkata at the South City outlet of lifestyle store Starmark in association with the publisher Bee Books.
