New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will introduce new syllabi and textbooks for classes 3 and 6 starting from April 1, 2024, for the academic year 2024-25.

Guwahati, Nov 4 (IBNS): The books published by the NCERT should have more detail information about the history, culture, people, lifestyle, destinations etc., of India's vastly unexplored and pristine but picturesque mosaic of ethnicity and bio-diversity hotspots-this was what highlighted in a seminar on 'destination Northeast and Awesome Assam' held as part of the on-going North East Festival organized in Guwahati.
