Prakash Javadekar launches 5000 libraries under Tech programme of RILM

Kolkata, Sept 8 (IBNS): On the occasion of 50th International Literacy Day, Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM) is launching creation of 5000 libraries in Government and Government aided schools across India, under its mission “Total Literacy and Quality Education”.

Shyamashree Sen wrote herself into the history books earlier this month, when she became the only second female District Governor of Rotary International District 3291 in Kolkata. In a chat with IBNS correspondent Supriyo Hazra, Sen opens up about her post and the plan she has in store. Excerpts:
