Away from the world of social media and internet, there was a time when listening to Radio Ceylon was part of everyday entertainment in several South Asian countries. Radio Ceylon had actually thrown a big challenge to All India Radio in terms of popularity. After arriving in Sri Lanka, Indian businessman Viraj Panchal fell in love with the Island Nation and expanded his business here.
