World leaders congratulate Narendra Modi

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): With the BJP-led NDA registering a thumping victory in the Lok Sabha polls under the leadership of Narendra Modi, thrashing the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) that has ruled the country for the past ten years, world leaders congratulated the BJP strongman for his performance in the ballot box in the world's largest democracy on Friday.

New Delhi, May 17 (IBNS): After more than a month-long polling spanning across eight phases which witnessed a record turnout of voters, India will exercise its franchise in ninth and last phase of the Lok Sabha polls on Monday to seal the fates of 606 candidates, including bigwigs like Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal who are pitted against each other in the holy city of Varanasi.
