Forest dept. suspends Kaziranga director, asks NIA probe

Guwahati, June 15 (IBNS) : The Assam Forest department on Wednesday suspended Kaziranga National Park (KNP) director after recent killings of one horned rhino in the world heritage site and the state forest minister appealed for a high level probe by NIA into the rhino killing incidents.

New Delhi, Nov 12 (IBNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths questioned a soldier of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) who was believed to have given shelter to a Burdwan blast suspect arrested in connection with a terror network exposed by October 2 accidental blast in West Bengal, media reports said.
