Assam teachers stage protest against state Education minister’s controversial remark about TET

Guwahati, June 18 (IBNS): Over 40,000 Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) qualified contractual teachers in Assam on Tuesday staged protest across the state against the Assam Education minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya’s recent remark comparing TET pass certificate with a driving licence and demanded the state government to regularise their jobs.
