BJP wins Jharkhand, ends as second in J&K

Srinagar/Ranchi, Dec 23 (IBNS): With the counting of votes for the Assembly elections in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir coming to an end, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to form the new government in the eastern state but fell short of reaching the halfway mark of 42-seats to emerge as the winning party in the northern state.
