Biggest haul of demonetised currency ; cash worth Rs. 100 crore seized from Kanpur house

Kanpur, Jan 17 (IBNS) : In possibly the biggest haul of  banned notes, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Uttar Pradesh Police have recovered demonetised  currency notes worth close to Rs 100 crore from a house in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, media reports said.

Guwahati, May 21 (IBNS): The sleuths of Bureau of Investigation (Economic Offences) of Assam police seized huge quantity of scrapping notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000, amount worth of Rs 95 lakh from a lodge in Guwahati on Saturday night, officials said.
