COVID19 scare in Kolkata: One dead as inmates of Dum Dum central jail go on rampage, torch jail properties, clash with police

Kolkata/IBNS: At least one inmate was killed and multiple others were seriously injured during a violent clash between the prisoners and police force in north Kolkata's Dum Dum Correctional Home on Saturday, sources said. The entire incident was triggered days after authorities suspended meeting of inmates with their family members amid Covid-19 outbreak.
