ECI issues notice to Sidhu for personal remarks against PM Modi, cites MCC violation

New Delhi, May 1 (UNI): The Election Commission on Wednesday issued notice to Congress star campaigner and Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu over alleged personal remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a rally in Ahmedabad on Apr 14.

New Delhi, Dec 13 (IBNS): The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Wednesday issued a notice to Congress President Rahul Gandhi asking why action will not be taken against him for violating the Representation of the People Act, hours after several TV channels aired his interview on Gujarat polls.
