SC stays Centre's notification to set up Fact Check Units

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday issued a stay order on the government's notification setting up Fact Check Units (FCU) under the 2023 Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Amendment Rules (IT Amendment Rules 2023) pending the final decision of the Bombay High Court.
