Gorkha Janmukti Morcha splits into two parts after its leader suspends 'indefinite strike' in Darjeeling

Darjeeling, Aug 31 (IBNS): Two days after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee held an all-party meet to discuss Gorkhaland issue at state secretariat Nabanna in Kolkata, a leader of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) on Thursday announced to cease its general strike in Darjeeling hills for the next 12 days while another part of the party is in favour of continuation of the indefinite shut down, reports said.
