Kolkata, June 12 (IBNS): People for Better Treatment (PBT) filed an urgent PIL in the Calcutta High Court on Wednesday against the state health department, West Bengal Medical Council and the NRS hospital concerning the ongoing strike by doctors.

New Delhi, May 21 (UNI) The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL filed by an independent candidate Ramu Mandi against the Election Commission of India appointment of two retired bureaucrats, Vivek Debey and Ajay Nayak, as special observers in the Lok Sabha election in Bengal, which was marked by violence, bloodshed and mayhem.
