Police detains independent MLA in Srinagar for staging demonstartion

Srinagar, Oct 24 (IBNS): Authorities detained independent MLA Engineer Rashid along with several of his supporters on Monday after he tried to stage a demonstration outside the Civil Secretariat against terminating services of many employees from police and civil administration for their alleged role in pro-freedom protests during the ongoing uprising.
