Srinagar: Stating that the day passed off peacefully, State Election Commissioner K.K. Sharma on Tuesday informed that 48.62% voter turnout was recorded in the second phase of District Development Council polls.

Jammu: The first phase of DDC elections recorded voter percentage of 39.69 per cent across different constituencies spread over all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir till 1300 hrs.
