Kolkata: Death toll in Majerhat bridge collapse reaches four as an injured person dies

Kolkata, Oct (IBNS): A 56-year-old Kolkata man, who was seriously injured in Majerhat rail-over-bridge (ROB) collapse and was undergoing treatment for the past several days, died on Thursday, taking the death toll in the accident to four, reports said on Friday.

Kolkata, Sept 4 (IBNS): Amid the blame game over the collapse of a portion of Kolkata's Majerhat bridge, the Eastern Railway has clarified that it was not carrying out any work at the site where the accident took place on Tuesday.
