SC seeks Centre's response on capping COVID-19 treatment cost in pvt hospitals

New Delhi/UNI: The Supreme Court on Friday sought a detailed response from the Central government on a PIL for capping the cost of treatment of COVID-19 patients in private hospitals.

Bengaluru, Nov 3 (IBNS) : Patients experienced a tough time as about 40,000 private hospitals and clinics remained closed across Karnataka on Friday as private doctors went on a strike protesting against the state Government's  proposed amendments to a medical bill which gives the state more power to have control over their functioning.
