UAE, Indonesia, Maldives join condemnation of Prophet Muhammad's remarks

New Delhi/IBNS/UNI:  More Islamic countries joined to condemn the controversial remarks against Prophet Muhammad by now-expelled and suspended functionaries of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with the UAE being the latest to issue a statement, and closer home, the Maldives and Indonesia also issued statements.

Mumbai/IBNS: The Mumbai Police will summon former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nupur Sharma to record her statement in connection with the FIR lodged against her for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad, media reports said.
