New Delhi/IBNS: Reacting to the riot in the US Capitol by the supporters of outgoing US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the democratic process cannot be "subverted through unlawful protests".

New Delhi, Nov 18 (IBNS) : Warning that there “may be riots”, the Supreme Court on Friday turned down the Government's plea to stay cases filed against demonetisation in High Courts and lower courts across the country, reports said.
