India registers strong protest with Pakistan on killing of two Sikh people in Peshawar

New Delhi: On the killing of two Sikh traders in Peshawar on Sunday, India said it has registered strong protest with Pakistan on the continued targeting of members of the minority community there and called upon the Pakistani authorities to sincerely investigate the matter and take strict action against those responsible.

New Delhi, Sept 1 (IBNS): Amid reports that an abducted minority Sikh girl in Pakistan, who was converted to Islam and then married to a Muslim man,  has not returned to her family despite the government's apparent moves to reunite her with parents, people from different religions and faiths will be assembling in front of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to protest against the incident, sources said.
