Srinagar/UNI: Friday prayers remained suspended for the fourth successive week at historic Jamia Masjid in the downtown, Assar-e-Shareif Hazratbal and others major shrines in Kashmir valley to curtail the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.

Srinagar, May 17 (UNI) Friday prayers were not allowed in the first week of holy month of Ramazan in Jamia Masjid in downtown Srinagar as all roads leading to the historic mosque were closed as a precautionary measure to prevent any demonstration.
