India reopens cinema halls amid Covid-19 threat

New Delhi/IBNS: The cinelovers of India will again be able to visit the cinema halls to watch movies as the Asian country, which has struggled to cope up with the surge in Covid-19 cases, is reopening the theatre houses on Thursday in the shadow of the virus threat.

Lucknow/UNI: The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday issued guidelines for the reopening of cinemas halls and multiplexes with up to 50 per cent of their seating capacity from Oct 15, after nearly seven months of COVID-19 restrictions.
